Then

Last Saturday was the Cat’s Meow. Check Your 6 (WW2 airplane combat) in the front, a D&D SideQuest in the middle, and our inaugural Ashes: Rise Of The Phoenixborn tournament in the back, (won by Dave Stair, with a strong showing by Olivia Hugal). The place was hopping. By all accounts, everyone had a good time, and we certainly plan on running Stage II of the Ashes event. In the mean time we invite and encourage casual Ashes on Saturday afternoons. Stay tuned for further details.

The Future

A few customers are quite excited about Frostgrave (fantasy miniature gaming in a frozen city). We’re going to have some demos on Thursdays. It’s a solid game and some of the scratch built terrain will knock your socks off. Check it out and join in if you’re so inclined.

Next Thursday, May 25th we are hosting a massive Twilight Imperium game starting at 7pm. Will we finish? Maybe. Will be finish before 2am? Almost certainly not. Will we call it quits around 11? Also possible. Join us if you dare…

There have been several new players in the Gaming Club, and we’re going to do a little more to cater to their experience, all while keeping our long-time members happy, of course. When you see someone new, don’t be shy – do introduce yourself and ask if they’d like to play a game. I think you’ll like the results.

We’ve had some interest in a Dungeons & Dragons session for younger kids and parents together. This would probably happen over the upcoming Summer break. If you’d like to learn more, ask Andy or send us an email or message us on Facebook.
